You ask it, we have it answered!
How much do banks charge to be executors?
All executors’ fees are regulated by a set tariff of 3.5%, excluding VAT, of the gross value of assets and 6%, excluding VAT, on all income received into the estate during the administration process. The length of the administration process therefore determines how much an executor may charge for all income received. Banks seldom give discounts or make concessions on their fees. At Capital Legacy, we charge a reduced rate and aim, as a business rule, to finalise all estates within nine (9) months. Our aim is to keep executor’s charges to a minimum by reducing the turnaround time for estate administration. We also offer a 25% indemnification on the standard tariff and do not charge the 6% fees on income received.
