As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the development of digital marketing strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, managing budgets, analysing results contributing to business initiatives and collaborating with others to create and maintain exceptional standards.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that improve online visibility, engagement, conversions, brand positioning and reputation management
  • Industry trends: Stay abreast of digital marketing industry trends that will impact marketing objectives
  • Analyse data: Use data and analytics to identify insights, performance and trends
  • Content: Create and manage content plans for ads, social media and campaigns
  • Manage campaigns: Create, deploy, and track the performance of campaigns across search and socials
  • Manage budgets: Set and manage budgets based on business targets and objectives
  • Report to management: Prepare and present reports to top-level management

What we look for in our ideal candidate

Education and experience requirements

  • Grade 12
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant business field, such as marketing, or in a related field, such as communication
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in a similar position with proven results
  • Proven performance marketing in a lead generation environment
  • Deep understanding of user journey optimisation in the online conversion funnel
  • Hands on experience with content planning and management for SEO and social media
  • Deep understanding and experience of onsite and offsite Search Engine Optimisation
  • Deep understanding and experience with Google, Meta and other social platforms
  • Preferably large agency or corporate experience

Key skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in marketing software & tools (CRM systems, Google Analytics, Social Media platforms)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent analytic, communication and project management skills
